All our refresher courses (Webinars) focus on the 6th edition of the Organon and the book Chronic Diseases. Both of these reference works bequeathed to us by Samuel Hahnemann form the scientific guide!

Organ remedies/tinctures are used when there are problems on organ function problems. Organ remedies have a place in prescribing according to Hahnemann’s disease classification (6th edition of the Organon).

As homeopaths, we know exactly which indications we can prescribe for. Organ remedies are more and more a common thread in our prescribing these days. After all, regular medication is a downright burden on many organs.

Biographical Nosodes & miasmata
The use of a biographical nosode is a new development in homeopathy. Nevertheless, we will all recognise the indications. What is also special about this webinar is that the underlying miasmata load the sensitivity and thus need for biographical nosodes, is clearly explained, so that we can apply it directly in our daily practice.

Bowel nosodes
Bowelnosodes are a specific group of agents that we prescribe each on their own specificity. Following Hahnemann from the disease classification he described (6th edition), Ewald Stöteler will practically fine-tune the whole thing in this Webinar. The entire webinar is supported with powerpoints, images and case studies.

The Contextual Materia Medica (CMM) is central to treatment as described by Hahnemann in the 6th edition of the Organon and his book the Chronic Diseases.

What does this entail?
In every patient anamnesis, we look for the aetiology of the symptoms. After all, if this is clear, our prescription can be based on it.

• Sometimes complaints arise from hereditary strain.
• Sometimes complaints arise from biography, or from an iatrogenic component.
• Sometimes complaints arise from not going through an epidemic disease or a suppressed STD properly.

Each of the above differences also calls for the prescription of different remedies. The patient has a vitality problem, or a reaction fatigue. The patient has a heavy or dominant hereditary strain that requires ‘a tap’ to be turned off.

In addition, there are often acute complaints that call for help to neutralise pain or other issues as quickly as possible. In all cases, we stimulate the life force to bring about recovery and restore order.

From Hahnemann’s philosophy, this is a logical thought. Studying the remedies in our Materia Medica from this philosophy, we see that remedies are complementary to each other. An eye-opener.

In this 2-day seminar we will study one of the most important elements of Hahnemann’s Organon (6th Edition) and Chronic Diseases. 

In §71-80 of the Organon, Hahnemann gives instructions as to the classification of the chronic diseases. He speaks about inherited disease tendencies, miasms, epidemics, incidental diseases, acute miasmatic states and iatrogenic diseases. In these aphorisms Hahnemann describes the ways in which the vital dynamis is disturbed in itself.

Ewald will explain the importance of disease classification, and how to apply it to our cases. Using illustrative cases we will examine how to approach analysis, how to set about treatment with appropriate remedies, in which order of progression, and in which potency and frequency. We will learn how to apply repertorisation to the process. Participants will be inspired to become actively involved in the seminar, and a working knowledge of the Organon (6th Edition), the Chronic Diseases, and preferably Ewald’s own ground breaking book “Hahnemann’s Homeopathy” is recommended.
